The Garden House, Hampstead
Brief
To restart a project that had failed. This is an underground home and the first contractor failed to install the proper waterproofing. I was brought on board to make good the issues, restart the project, and take it to completion, which included PM and Interior Design to the point of handover to the client.
Hurdles
Water ingress was the first issue, and after that, a very constricted site where we had no storage facilities for materials and site equipment, this meant a great relationship with the neighbours to allow us to finish the build.
